Delivery of Low Carbon Extreme to Bane NOR project

Seltor and CC Betong are satisfied with the quality of the concrete. The collaboration has worked well, and the project shows that it is possible to deliver concrete with significantly lower CO₂ emissions.

Using a traditional cement type (Schwenk Cem II/B), the emission would have been 225 kg CO₂ per cubic meter of concrete. With Low Carbon Extreme this has been reduced to 104 kg CO₂ per cubic meter – a saving of 121 kg per m³. For today's delivery, this amounts to a total climate cut of 29 tons of CO₂. The total concrete volume in the project is estimated at 600 m³, which gives an expected saving of over 72 tons of CO₂ compared to regular concrete.
