When you use Seltor's website and/or are in contact with us as a customer or supplier, we will process personal data about you. Below you will therefore find information about the personal data that is collected, why we do this and your rights related to the processing of personal data.

  1. Why we collect personal data and what kind of information we collect

We collect and use your personal data for different purposes depending on who you are and how we come into contact with you. The processing of personal data is based on a balancing of interests and/or on the basis of your consent. We collect the following personal data for the purposes set out here:

  • Send out marketing, newsletters and provide information about our business: Email.

  • Respond to inquiries that come in to us. Name, telephone number, email address and any personal data that may result from the inquiry. We have determined that this information is necessary to help you with any queries you may have.

  • Recruitment for new positions with us: CV, application, testimonials and references.

  • Carry out projects: Name, address, social security number, telephone number, e-mail and any personal data that may result from the customer/supplier relationship.

  • Access control system: Registration of entry/exit passages on the work site. We have determined that this information is necessary for us to secure the construction site and ensure safety in the event of an accident/crisis.

  1. Disclosure of personal data to others

Seltor will not disclose your personal data to others unless there is a legal basis for such disclosure. Examples of such a basis may be because disclosure is necessary to fulfill an agreement with you or there is a legal basis that requires us to disclose the information.

Seltor AS uses data processors to collect, store or otherwise process personal data on our behalf. In such cases, we have entered into agreements to ensure information security at all stages of the processing. We currently use the following data processors:

  • ByggOffice: Personal data collected is name, address, birth/organization number, telephone number, e-mail: Processing is necessary for us to calculate projects and requests, and to report statutory obligations we have regarding your customer/supplier relationship.

  • Viscenario: Personal data collected is name, phone number, next of kin, etc. The processing is necessary to ensure safety on the construction site and to have an overview of any options, etc.

  • Infobric: Electronic crew registration and access control to barracks, driving gates etc. via HSE card (construction card)

    Personal information collected is name, address, signature and social security number.

All processing of personal data that we undertake takes place within the EU/EEA area.

  1. Storage time

We store your personal data with us for as long as it is necessary for the purpose for which the personal data was collected.

 This means, for example, that personal data that we process on the basis of your consent will be deleted if you withdraw your consent.

  1. Your rights when we process personal data about you

You have the right to demand access to, rectification or erasure of personal data we process about you. You also have the right to demand restricted processing, object to the processing and access to your data. To exercise your rights, you must contact Seltor AS at post@seltor.no or your contact person with us. We will respond to your inquiry as soon as possible, and no later than within 30 days. You may at any time withdraw your consent for the processing of personal data by us. The easiest way to do this is to contact us at post@seltor.no

If you believe that our processing of personal data does not comply with what we have described here or that we are otherwise in breach of data protection legislation, you can complain to the Data Protection Authority.
