This means that Seltor is moving from many suppliers to just one.
- This choice has significant benefits," says Seltor in a press release from Maxbo.
Seltor develops housing, office buildings and public buildings in Viken, Telemark, Vestfold and Oslo, and has offices in Porsgrunn, Drammen and Oslo. Among other things, they are the turnkey contractor for the construction of Sjøparken at Kaldnes Brygge in Tønsberg for Selvaag, and are also building their own apartment project Strandholmen in Holmestrand, which they are developing together with Bane NOR.
- "After many years with several suppliers of timber, we have now chosen to enter into a more strategic partnership with Maxbo Proff, where they are a total supplier of virtually everything we need for the construction process," says Endre Christiansen, Purchasing Manager at Seltor.
- Maxbo Proff has shown through previous collaborations and in the process of finding a supplier that they have the knowledge we need. Such a predictable and close collaboration means that Maxbo dares to invest in us, minimizes the time we spend on purchasing and makes it easy to work sustainably. Maxbo has a very high level of product knowledge, and in addition, they were able to offer a total concept with permanent professionals and service teams as well as competence-building activities that help to increase our expertise," he says.
Erik Muldorff Frellsen, Director of Key Accounts and Professional Concepts at Maxbo Proff, and Terje Moen, Sales Manager Key Accounts, have worked to land the deal.
- "Naturally, we are very pleased with the outcome of the process. I am convinced that the model Seltor has chosen is a very good way of working together, for both parties. Such a close strategic collaboration allows us to work together to develop long-term and profitable solutions in areas such as procurement, logistics, sustainability and digitalization," says Frellsen in the press release from Maxbo.
