Canica Eiendom AS has entered into an agreement with Seltor for the total rehabilitation and conversion of the historic apartment buildings Grensen 17 and 19, centrally located in the center of Oslo. The project aims to transform the properties into a modern and exclusive office complex with high architectural quality and strong environmental ambitions.
The work includes extensive and complex ground and foundation work, connecting the two buildings, and establishing new upper floors and roofs. The total area is approximately 13,000 m². The project is being implemented as a turnkey contract, and great emphasis is placed on preserving the buildings' heritage-worthy qualities in close cooperation with the City Antiquities Authority.
The project will be BREEAM-NOR certified, and will meet strict requirements for sustainability, energy efficiency and environmentally friendly material use. The rehabilitation of Grensen 17 and 19 represents an important investment in the future working environment, and will contribute to strengthening the cityscape of central Oslo.
