RFD – New operations and logistics building in Mjøndalen

The Drammen Region Renovation Company (RFD) is currently constructing a new operational and logistics building including a warehouse totaling 5,000 m². The project will be carried out from September 2025 to September 2026, and marks an important investment in the company's future operations and capacity.

The building is being constructed inside the Mile recycling station in Mjøndalen, on an area that has previously been used as a landfill. This gives the project an extra dimension, as it requires special consideration of ground conditions and environmental solutions.

The new building will help strengthen RFD's presence in the region, facilitating more efficient work processes, improved logistics and increased capacity for waste management and recycling. The project is also part of the company's commitment to modern and sustainable facilities.
